It's the wings you've spread
the thousand colours faded
and only light stayed

hidden in the stars at times
flowing through the air
or in the ashes in the soil

on wings you left
no whispering flutter
of dreamlike moments
no smiling goodbyes
and sweet promises

it's like the swamplands
enclosing their riches
and rainy water
murmers by
